Description

Join us on Saturday, July 30 for our Salida & Central Colorado MS Community Forum

Event Details

Join us on Saturday, June 11!
We’re excited to bring our MS-specialty neurologists to the this Community Forum, where they’ll discuss the latest in MS research and advances in the field, as well as how to maximize the lifelong brain health of those living with MS.

Neurologists will provide an informal space to ask questions and have an open dialogue about anything that you might want to discuss. Alongside all of these sessions, you’ll also have social time to connect with others living with MS in your community. Light breakfast and lunch provided.

Beyond the opportunities provided by the forum, attending our event will also link you to our free direct support services, giving you access to our online counseling sessions, virtual exercise classes, and health and wellness coaching.

Live Learning Events
The Community Forum will include the following presentations and open discussion sessions with Neurologists, Social Workers and Educators from the Rocky Mountain MS Center:

MS Today
This session will provide a space for individuals living with MS to learn the foundations of MS, how what we know has changed over time, and updates on recent advances in the field, all of which will be presented by an MS Educator.

Living Well with MS Sessions
Presentation on wellness and lifestyle choices that help people living with MS maximize their quality of life, which will be presented by an MS-specialty physical therapist and a licensed clinical social worker/MS Educator.

Conversations on MS
Conversations on MS is an audience-directed discussion with one of RMMSC’s MS-specialty neurologists, which will also include a short presentation on the latest research happening in the field. This session will be a unique opportunity to ask questions and explore information regarding MS that there usually isn’t time for during a clinic visit with your neurologist.

For Healthcare Providers...
If you're a healthcare provider, we have a special session just for you! In conjunction with our MS Community Forum, we'll be hosting a series of sessions tailored specifically for healthcare professionals. Please contact Sophie at sophie@mscenter.org for our schedule and more details.
