Ben Lomond Gun Club

The Club offers free firearm safety classes for children 8 to 17 years old in two 4 hour sessions. Next class is March 15 and 22 from 0900 to 1300 with an optional live fire opportunity following the class and each 4th Saturday of the year for class graduates. The club provides training, safety equipment, rifles to use, incentive award and patches and ammunition at cost of $3/50 rounds. Preregistration is required. The class teaches firearm safety for handguns, rifles and shotguns but does not qualify as a Safe Hunter class. CCW permit classes under new guidelines are also available at an at-cost charge of $20 for either the initial 8 hour class or 4 hour permit.
