Our hotel was named after Horace Tabor, the owner of the largest silver mine discovered in the area. Tabor became a very wealthy man, was a leader in the community and was known as the Silver King!
Leadville is a small, enchanting mining town established in the 1860's when gold was discovered here. After the gold was all mined, silver was struck and a colorful history began.
