Is it a corporate conglomerate constructed of steel and glass where millions of jars of decadence are churned out via sparkling high tech robotics?

Is it the result of a high powered business woman who once waged war within the confines of chemical laboratories but then saw the error of her ways and turned into an all-natural-all-the-time-hippie-product-pusher?

Well no.

Welcome to the real Woodland Essentials...born on a whim and raised in an atmosphere of surprise.

The true background is pretty simple. Colorado is extremely dry and my family was scheduled to come out for a ski trip. It made sense to make them all-natural and amazingly scented moisturizing gifts for Christmas - “essentials” in “Woodland” Park, Colorado.

As it happens, I made just a tad too much. So it was on a whim that I threw together a product label and offered up the extras to the locals. My supply disappeared in less than an hour, and there were handfuls of people still requesting product!

So I made more. A lot more. And no one is more surprised than I am.

Today, Woodland Essentials Products are available as Body Butters, Sugar Scrubs, and adorably shaped Lotion Bars to suit any occasion or whim of your own. Products can be purchased online or at several retail locations in the charming little mountain town of Woodland Park, Colorado.
