Iron Roots BJJ presents a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu summer camp for kids
Event Details
Wanting to get your kid involved in a mentally and physically engaging sport? Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) teaches kids respect, discipline and to develop confidence in themselves. BJJ is designed for a smaller person to be able to defend themselves against a larger person, making it the ideal form of self defense for all body types and genders. BJJ is also just incredibly fun! You get to run around, learn different ways of moving your body, and physically engage with other kids. This camp is designed for both beginners and experienced kids; we will have structured learning time, free grappling, games, rest time and other engaging activities. If you would like to learn more about BJJ, our school and our instructors please visit our website ironrootsbjj. Camp will open at 8:30am for drop off and free time and we will begin our first set of instruction at 9am. Camp ends at 12:00pm. Kiddos will need comfy workout clothes or a gi (BJJ uniform) if they have one, a water bottle and snacks. All other materials will be provided, incuding a certificate of achievement at the end of camp. Additionally, all kids who are not current students will receive a free month of training at our regular kids classes after the completion of the camp. This camp is appropriate for kid ages 6-12.
