Crafts & Cocktails: Macrame Ghosts & Pumpkins

Join us for a SPOOKY October edition of Crafts & Cocktails at 1350 Distilling and make your own Boo Crew of ghosts or pumpkins. In class we are only making ghosts or pumpkins, the garland is an example of how you can style them at home.

In this hands-on beginner friendly macrame class you'll be working with high quality recycled cotton rope to create a seasonal piece of fiber art you'll enjoy for years to come.

Our Fiber Artist & Instructor Janel will provide group instruction as well as one on one guidance (as needed) so you leave with a complete project along with a sense of accomplishment and the desire to continue creating at home!

Your ticket gets you knowledge, experience and a seasonal project that you make yourself.

ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED AT CLASS. You will be making 3 ghosts or 3 pumpkins only; each measuring about 4 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. These are perfect to hang in a car rearview mirror, backpack or in your home with your other Halloween decorations. These could even be used to create a lovely seasonal garland as pictured here. Your project will be made of natural color rope for ghosts and copper color rope for pumpkins. Your ticket also includes black felt to cut ghost/pumpkin eyes and mouths plus extra rope for hanging. You are encouraged to support this business while we enjoy their space, please arrive 10-15 minutes before class to order a drink (or 2!) and get settled in so you're ready to start promptly at 6:30pm.
